The journey of a Dough It Yourself pizza from package to plate could not be simpler.

Heat your oven up to 220-230 and leave it for at least 20 minutes – a little longer if you have the time as the hotter the oven, the better for cooking.

Remove a Dough It Yourself pizza base from its package and, using a spoon, spread half a pot of one of Dough It Yourself’s fabulous sauces across the base before adding your toppings of choice.

It’s vital not to overload the base – too many toppings lead to a soggy pizza.

Never forget, less is more when it comes to a divine pizza.

Open your oven door and insert your freshly-made pizza onto the top or middle shelf, keeping the door open for the shortest amount of time possible so that the least amount  of warm air escapes.

Depending on how crispy you like your pizza – and remember, all ovens are different so these cooking times are a guideline – cook it for anything from 4-6  minutes and then remove, let cool for a minute or two, slice and put on a plate.

All that’s left for you to do then is enjoy the finest pizza that will ever come out of your oven at home.
